Lovely.
"I’m stoked for everything and everyone now. I’m no longer cold and bitter. I’m an idiot still and proud of it. I’ll never escape that completely but neither will I run from it. But whatever you call this and that, it’s been a good run. I don’t regret or resent anything. I’ve tons of love to give and theres millions of folks who need it." - Jason Mraz

Poem From Graham

This poem/lyric was written for me by Graham.

I have imagined you
under a tree
sitting.
The sun above lights.
The airs behind your back.
The blue and the stream
below! They seem fitting.
And the animals
gather around you
in the grass.
You walk down over the tiny bridge
and you go into town.
Feed children like tiny chicks.
You are a wonder.
You are a sight to behold.

Music Must Hears:

Music Must Hears:

311 - You have most likely heard this band on movie soundtracks or radio stations before. They are most famous for 'Love Song', or 'Amber'. Amber is played in movies such as 50 First Dates.

Ani DiFranco - A unique sense of style, she reminds me of Alanis Morisette. If you do like Alanis, Ani is definitely someone to look into.

Beck - I couldn't describe Beck until you've heard him. I know that many people admire his newest album from the blogs voting best album of 2005.

Ben Harper - I can't help but absolutely love his cover of Bob Marley's "Redemption Song".

Bonnie Somerville - "Winding Road" was on the soundtrack of Garden State. She's got this pop/modern music style and voice. If you like Michelle Branch, Vanessa Carlton, or Natasha Bedingfield, listen in!

Brendan Benson - Coming in with a new sense of style, Brendan speaks of many simple things and I often find fun lyrics. ("I need a pick-up, and I don't mean truck. I think you know where to get some.")

Colin Hay - He's got a soothing voice, reminds me of something of Ray LaMontagne and Ben Harper.

Copeland - If you enjoy bands like Keane, Aqualung, and other pop/rock bands, take a look! Copeland brings a new sensitive side to the tune, including a cover of "Take My Breath Away".

The Cure - The perfect example is "Just Like Heaven". That is a song title by the Cure. The opening song that is sung by a woman is a cover of the song. (In the credits, the woman changes "she" to "he".)

Damien Rice - A fan of the acoustic with the variation of vocals? Damien Rice is your new hit. Coming out with the album 'O', he is showing a wonderful side. If you enjoy Bright Eyes, preview him!

Dido - Everyone enjoys a lovely girl with an accent here and there. I'm pretty sure that I once heard that she is Australian. An odd and rejoicing blend of instruments.

Gary Jules - If you have heard the cover of "Mad World" in the last scenes of Donnie Darko, there's who you've got. Gary Jules.

Jason Mraz - My favorite star, he is all-around wonderful. I met him in person. He includes a variation of acoustic/folk sounds, tied with songs of hip-hop, soft rock, and oprah. Welcome Jason Mraz to your collection. (This lovely one also teaches Japanese children English in his free time!)

Joseph Arthur - If you like Sufjan Stevens, I request him. "I wish I could follow you to the shores of freedom where no one lives."

Josh Groban - Goodness, I couldn't even explain. Many older people love Josh Groban.

Mew - Liam once sent me "She Came Home For Christmas" and there began my future with Mew.

Nick Drake - If you ever read the Perks of Being a Wallflower, in the mixtape that he, Charlie, made Patrick, included Nick Drake in the second side. The second side was made for 'the kind of music that you drive with.'
He is also in the Garden State soundtrack.

Ray LaMontagne - MsDania did say that he played with John Mayer. If you're a fan of John Mayer, you may have seen him live before. His voice is as wonderful as ever, and I just love it all.

Ted Leo & The Pharmacists - This always brings me back to Jesse. He still recognizes the songs if I ever do have them up. We tend to share music when necessary, and he opened me to this band with "Me and Mia". Jesse does know me well. (I shared Ray LaMontagne with him.)
